WHAT IS A PATCH TEST?

HOW OFTEN WILL I NEED TREATMENT?

You must have around 6 to 8 treatments to get the optimum benefit. Facial laser hair treatments can be every 4 weeks and body laser hair removal treatments are performed every 6 weeks.

ARE THERE ANY SIDE-EFFECTS?

For most people the only side-effect reported is a mild redness. For others there may be a little sensitivity in the area that has been treated, Aloe Vera gel can usually be applied to calm this down.

HOW SHOULD I PREPARE BEFORE A TREATMENT?

Avoid any other hair removal methods such as waxing, threading or hair removal creams for 6 weeks before the treatment. Avoid sun exposure which makes laser hair removal less effective and cause complications. We will discuss any medications in detail at your consultation.

WHAT ABOUT AFTERCARE?

After the laser treatment avoid heat stimulation such as hot baths or showers, saunas, and steam. Avoid cardiovascular exercise and swimming as the chemicals in the water may cause irritation.
